Abstract
Final year students must have work readiness in order to compete in the world of work. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and family support with work readiness of final year students. The population of this study was final year students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The criteria for respondents are final students or semester 8. The sample used amounted to 200. This study uses correlational quantitative research. The measuring instrument used is a scale of work readiness, self-efficacy and family support with the help of google form. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there is a very significant relationship between Self-Efficacy and Family Support with Job Readiness. There is a positive and highly significant relationship between Self-Efficacy and Work Readiness. There is a positive and very significant relationship between Family Support and Work Readiness. The effective contribution of Self-Efficacy and Family Support with Job Readiness is 67.6%. Self-efficacy with work readiness is 51% and the effective contribution of family support with work readiness is 16.6%. In work readiness has a high category, self-efficacy is a high category, and family support is a high category. The implication of the results of this study is that work readiness is influenced by internal and external factors, on internal factors influenced by self-efficacy.
