Abstract
Sahabat Kapas was founded with the aim of providing assistance to teenagers who have problems in the legal field. Sahabat cotton is also focused on educating and empowering marginalized groups by advocating for these issues. This study discusses the communication strategy used by the “Sahabat Kapas” community in socializing mental health on Instagram social media through the @sahabatkapas account. The purpose of this study is to find out how the communication strategy used by Sahabat cotton in socializing mental health, especially through the Instagram account @sahabatkapas and to find out the application of the Circular Model Of SoMe concept in the communication process that has been carried out. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method using a purposive sampling technique. In this study using the concept (Circular Model Of SoMe), namely: Share, Optimize, Manage, Engage and use. The research used online and offline interview methods with informants to obtain and retrieve data. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is known that planning to use Instagram as a media for socialization carried out by Sahabat Kapas provides an advantage in disseminating information about mental health and getting public attention by conducting interactive communication on Instagram social media, which can be seen by the number of followers and interactions carried out by Friends. Cotton is increasing.
