Abstract

Mosque youth is the main forum for cadre in the field of mosques which rejuvenates young people to study Islam and prosper the mosque for the younger generation in society. In the observations that the writer made at the Banukan Youth Hamlet, the writer found several problems that arose from a lack of responsibility for the assignments that had been given, a lack of morals towards older people, hanging out at midnight playing online games excessively and a spiritual crisis experienced by adolescents. The research questions in this study are What is the role of the Youth of the Al Ikhlas Mosque in fostering the morals of adolescents in the Banukan Hamlet and What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Youth of the Al Ikhlas Mosque in fostering the Morality of the adolescents of the Banukan Hamlet. This study aims to describe the role of youth at the Al Ikhlas Mosque in fostering youth morals in Banukan Hamlet. And describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Youth of the Al Ikhlas Mosque in fostering Adolescent Morals in Banukan Hamlet. This study uses a qualitative field method, by using observation data collection techniques, interviews, documentation. Interviews were conducted with youth administrators at the mosque who had carried out their role, namely fostering the morals of adolescents in the Banukan hamlet. The results of the study found the role of youth at the Al Ikhlas Mosque in fostering youth morals in Banukan Hamlet, namely as follows: Submission of morals and religious jurisprudence material for each recitation to provide educational guidance and direction to adolescents, Second, sports activities to grow the potential and talents that exist in them with positive activities to reduce addiction to playing online games, Third, Social Service to make Muslim youth in mosques have social responsibility towards the surrounding community. While the supporting factors for mosque youth in fostering youth morals in Banukan hamlet are the enthusiasm of members of the Al Ikhlas Mosque youth in Banukan hamlet, support from the entire community, mosque administrators, and funding sources assisted by donors from sponsors. Furthermore, the inhibiting factor is the factor of the organization itself, there is a difference of opinion between the members of the Youth Mosque when the management changes and the funding factor that has not been able to support activities.
