Abstract

Jepara Regency is an area where most of the population's income comes from the sea because it is directly adjacent to the sea. The source of regional income is also obtained from the coastal tourism sector, but only a small part of the tourism potential is well known and developed by the government so that the utilization of tourism potential has not been maximized. This study aims to analyze the classification of internal, external, and combined potential distribution, and determine the direction of development of tourist attractions through SWOT analysis. Using descriptive qualitative research methods that describe the results of data acquisition and mapping results in the form of thematic maps. The data sampling used for this study used purposive sampling techniques through internal and external scoring that resulted in combined potential. The data collection method used in this study with primary data in the form of observations/observations, and secondary data in the form of agency data. The scoring results show that Belbak Beach has a high score followed by Punuk Sapi Beach and Ombak Mati Beach with medium scores and low scores for Pailus Beach, Blebak Beach has a high score because it is superior to other beaches. The development of tourist attraction of each of several attractions can increase if accompanied by an increase in the number of visitors who come, and requires innovative changes to attract visitors based on the condition of the attraction. As for what can be done to maintain the cleanliness and feasibility of supporting objects, rearrange a comfortable layout for visitors, improve proper and comfortable road accessibility, and provide parking lots.
