Abstract

Sensory Space For Autistic Children Center in Surakarta is a treatment center designed for children with developmental disorders of the nervous system with an emphasis on sensory space design. As well as a place to receive and provide education for children with autism to develop their potential, especially children with autism. This design aims to create a therapy center as well as a comfortable and intimate learning environment, as well as providing a public space to encourage direct community involvement and interaction with children with autism. In the design of the Sensory Space For Autistic Children Center, textures, smells and sounds will greatly affect the user's experience while in this building. Architecture that prioritizes sensory design can change the way humans interact with the built environment. By considering the user's sensory experiences, such as sound, light, and touch, architecture can create more immersive and meaningful experiences. This can foster a deeper connection between people and their environment, leading to a more fulfilling and enriching relationship with the built environment.
