Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the online tadarus Al-Quran activities at the Quran House of Muhammad Darwis during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was motivated by learning carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic which initially studied face-to-face and then switched to online learning. Based on this, several problems were formulated, namely the use of online learning media in the implementation of Quran education through tadarus and its advantages and disadvantages with the aim that teachers are expected to be able to instill the values contained in the Quran with good online learning media, and in order to provide convenience in maximizing the potential and character of students. The type of research used in this study is field research (field reasearch). This study used a phenomenological approach. In obtaining valid data to support the research, this study uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used in this study use data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions as well as verifying and triangulating sources. The results of this study show that tadarus Al-Quran online is one way in the process of Quran education in life during the COVID-19 pandemic, then the media used are google meet, whatsapp, and zoom. The implementation of online tadarus learning has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are the existence of e-moderating facilities in the learning process, providing convenience for students in accessing learning, especially Quran learning, one of the positive activity options and helping the development of learning the Quran of students during the COVID-19 pandemic, changing the role of passive students to being active during the pandemic, bringing teachers closer to Sali students. The disadvantage is that not all places have internet facilities, lack of interaction between teachers and students due to distance learning.
