Abstract

The creative industry is one aspect of improving the national economy, especially for the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Creative space is needed as a place for productivity in order to hone creativity and be able to maintain a variety of innovative ideas. However, the distribution of space for community is still too small so that it is not yet able to accommodate many creative fields in one place. From these limitations, Creative Hub is a fulfillment space for creative industry players to participate in all creative activities. Therefore, it is necessary to create a Creative Hub located in Bantul Regency, DIY, which is planned to be able to support three types of sub-sectors namely crafts, fashion and performances. To support this, Biophilic Design is used as a method or approach that supports the goals of the Creative Hub. The Biophilic Design approach is used to create an environment that can increase user productivity and creativity. In this creative environment, it is possible to create new creative ideas. Thus, this design is expected to create human interaction with nature and interaction with humans that can significantly affect user productivity and creativity.
