Abstract

Currently, most people, including students and office workers, are looking for flats. Apartments, in contrast to boarding houses, are often used by individuals who work in offices or go to school. This is one of the many reasons why apartments are becoming more and more popular. And nowadays, many people carry out their activities in their apartments. The term "small office home office", or SOHO for short, has become increasingly common in recent years, especially among entrepreneurs just starting out in business. When it first started to balance on academic disciplines, the SOHO model prioritized a concept called practicality, and it still is today. Now, people can easily carry out their three work tasks, even at home. Based on the background description above, the authors are interested in conducting research with the title of small office home office based apartment design with a green architecture approach in Solo. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to design an apartment based on a small office home office with a green architecture approach in Solo. While the purpose of this research is to apply the concept of planning and designing apartments based on small office home offices with a green architecture approach in Solo.
