Abstract
This development research aims, 1) to produce educational video-based learning media products for the introduction of Indonesian currency; 2) to find out the feasibility of educational video-based learning media to introduce Indonesian currency; 3) to find out whether educational video-based learning media can improve financial literacy in students. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The percentage of media feasibility assessment by material experts and media experts shows 100% in the very feasible category, and 85.93% in the feasible category. The average rating of the pre-test results was 51.11 while the average rating of the post-test results reached 73.33. Thus it shows that the results of the post-test scores are higher than the results of the pre-test scores. From the learning outcomes data that was tested also had a significant difference because Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.000 less than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a difference between the pre-test (before using educational video-based learning media) and post-test (after using educational video-based learning media). So the test on the t-test statistic stated that the use of educational video-based learning media was valid and effectively used to increase financial literacy in students.
