Abstract
Nguter District and Bendosari District are areas planned for the development of the Regional Service Center, the development of the Environmental Service Center, Industrial Allotment Areas, and Argopolitan Areas. This resulted in an increasing need for land. In addition, this land change occurred due to the increasing population in the area. The purpose of this study is to determine land use in Nguter District and Bendosari District in 2017 and 2021, to analyze land use changes in Nguter District and Bendosari District in 2017-2021, and to analyze the suitability of changes in land use in Nguter District and Bendosari District to the spatial pattern of Sukoharjo Regency. The methods used in this study are remote sensing analysis, geographic information system analysis, and surveys. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and spatial analysis. The results of this study, namely that there are 11 land uses in Nguter District and Bendosari District consisting of irrigated rice fields, settlements, fields, industrial buildings, livestock, mixed forest, mining, swamps, rivers, TPS, and reservoirs. Changes in land use that occurred in the District of Nguter area of 13.21 Ha. The change is towards a settlement area of 10.34 Ha. Changes in use that occurred in the District of Bendosari covering an area of 50.02 Ha. The change is towards a field of 12.91 Ha. Overall, changes in land use in Nguter District and Bendosari District are in accordance with the spatial pattern. Changes in land use in Nguter District that are in accordance with spatial patterns are 9.21 Ha or 69.72% and those that are not suitable are 4.00 Ha or 30.28%. Changes in land use in Bendosari District that are in accordance with spatial patterns are 38.22 Ha or 73.47% and those that are not suitable are 13.8 Ha or 26.53%.
