Abstract

One of the problems faced by batik wallet souvenir shops is the payroll system and employee data processing which are still manual. The use of an employee administration information system can facilitate and streamline the work of managing employee data. This information system can be applied to batik wallet souvenir shops with the aim of facilitating employee management. The method used in this employee payroll information system research uses the waterfall method. The waterfall method was chosen because of the sequential stages such as requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. The results and discussion of the research that the author has done has resulted in a website-based employee payroll information system. This payroll system has been created using the Node.js and React programming languages, this system is equipped with several features which of course adjust to user needs. With this system, it is hoped that the features of the information system that the author made will be able to facilitate the work of users and be able to solve problems that exist in batik wallet souvenirs. The test system on this information system website uses two tests, namely by using the Black Box and the SUS Usability System Scale. The information system achieved a SUS score of 82.75, falling into the "Good" category, indicating a positive acceptance by potential users
