Abstract

The Solo Baru area is an area with business, trade, residential, health, recreation and sports functions. This area is getting denser when seen from the many high-rise building developments that have developed recently. Buildings located in the Solo Baru area, for example, have hotel functions (Grand Mercure Solo Baru, Fave Hotel Solo Baru, Grand Soba, Hotel Brothers), function shopping centers (The Park Mall, Pakuwon Mall, Hartono Trade Center, Carrefour Solo Baru), function tourism (Pandawa Water World, Go Kart Pakuwon Mall, Pesanggrahan Langenharjo), hospital functions (Dr. Oen Solo Baru Hospital, Indriarti Hospital). Even though it is an advanced area, in the Solo Baru area there is no city park as a green open space, so there is a need for a city park as a green open space in the New Solo area. Solo Baru Central Park is a green open space with the aim of recreation and sports for the people around Solo Baru. Solo Baru Central Park is divided into 3 activity zones, namely social activity zone, economic activity zone, cultural activity zone. Social activities such as sports and recreational games. Economic activities such as trading (culinary, souvenirs, and paid games). Cultural activities such as performing arts are carried out in the amphitheater. The concept that will be applied to Solo Baru Central Park is a contemporary architectural concept. The concept of this park will be an active and passive recreational park, a park that can be enjoyed by its beauty as well as other functions and can be used to hold activities.
