Abstract

Sragen is a district area that has a variety of tourism objects that have high religious, historical and economic values. Tourism in Sragen has the main characteristics of beautiful natural scenery, maintaining traditional culture, with professional tour guides and international standard facilities. Therefore, Sragen needs the development of one of its links with the Cultural Resort. Sragen Cultural Resort is an inn used to introduce the cultures in Sragen. The introduction of culture is through the Neo Vernacular Architecture approach in buildings by incorporating elements of regional culture to facilitate local tourists and foreign tourists who come and visit to learn local culture. The research method used is a descriptive analysis method with an approach to processing observational data and literature data. The objectives of this design are: a) Produce the application of local culture, tradition and tourism in the Cultural Resort, b) Produce a form of Cultural Resort design that is in accordance with the Neo Vernacular Architecture approach. So with the existence of Sragen Cultural Resort can make it easier for tourists who want to visit other tourist attractions with cooperation between the resort and tourism objects in the area.
