Abstract

Yogyakarta is an area that has a variety of tourist attractions, this underlies the rapid development of the Yogyakarta region, especially in the field of infrastructure. Hotel is one of the infrastructure fields as a means of lodging for tourists visiting Yogyakarta. Therefore, the safety and strength of building structures are very important things to pay attention to. Based on geological drill log data, it is known that the average value of standard penetration test (N-SPT) resistance in the Yogyakarta region is 29.57 so it is included in the class of medium soil sites. Therefore, a 7-storey hotel building structure is planned which refers to SNI 1726-2019, SNI 2847-2019, and SNI 1727-2020 regulations. The structure of the hotel building is planned to use the Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS) with an application based on Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a new learning medium, namely Tekla Structural Designer 2021. Based on the results of the analysis, the dimensions of the secondary beam 250/500, the primary beam 300/500; 300/600; 350/500; and 350/700, columns 600/700 and 700/800, roof plates and floor plate with a thickness of 130 mm. The reinforcement used for column D22, primary beam D22, secondary beam D16, roof plate and floor plate D10. Automatic calculation of reinforcement with Tekla Structural Designer (autodesign) on several structural elements can still be optimized, so as to obtain optimal reinforcement results based on manual reinforcement calculations which are still in the safe category at Tekla Structural Designer.
