Abstract

Environmental conditions play a very important role in the survival of living things such as oyster mushrooms, one of which is the changing air conditions with fluctuating humidity and temperature values causing the growth of oyster mushrooms to be less than optimal until the harvest fails. This research focuses on monitoring and controlling the value of humidity and temperature at the research site, namely the Oyster Mushroom Kumbung automatically. The purpose of this research is to create a tool that can control and monitor the temperature and humidity of oyster mushroom cultivation with the Internet of Things (IoT), the sensor used is DHT 11 to later obtain data that can be monitored directly from the 16x2 LCD screen and connected to the blynk application. on smartphones with the Internet of Things (IoT). The microcontroller used is Wemos D1 R2 as the processor. Then the solution is given to maintain humidity and temperature conditions as needed by using a water pump by adding a nozzle that makes water like dew and a fan for air circulation. The last stage carried out is testing and data collection on the results of the test. The ideal temperature and humidity is between 21 ̊C-30 ̊C and 70 %-95 %, then the tool is set to work on the fan when the temperature is > 30 ̊C and the pump when the humidity is < 70 % then it will turn off the fan when the temperature is < 28 ̊C and the pump when the humidity is >80%. The results of making this tool have been tested that the system of this tool is working as expected, namely being able to control temperature and humidity automatically according to ideal conditions, then you can also monitor values, graphics, and LED indicators system as IoT real time remotely.
