Abstract

This research is motivated by several things that become obstacles to religious activities in the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque, starting from the busyness of some mosque administrators, and the lack of involvement of mosque youth in participating in activities. One effort that can be used to improve this is by providing several facilities that can attract the attention of administrators and also young people of the Al Iman mosque. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy for developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque, Ngesrep, Ngemplak, Boyolali. as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for the strategy of developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque, Ngesrep, Ngemplak, Boyolali. The type of research used is qualitative research. In this study using a phenomenological approach. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the data validity technique with triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The data analysis technique uses the stages of analysis according to Miles & Huberman's theory, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results obtained are the strategy used in developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari mosque is to improve the quality of the mosque's management, to increase the intensity of the relationship between the mosque's administrators and those who are directly involved in activities, to approach the congregation, and to formulate activity programs. Factors supporting the strategy for developing religious activities at the Al Iman Tanjungsari, Ngesrep, Ngemplak, Boyolali mosques are the source of funds, the strategic location of the mosque, the spirit of the mosque administrators, and the enthusiasm of the community. While the inhibiting factors are the busyness of the mosque management and the lack of contribution of youth in participating in activities.
