Abstract

Currently technology is developing rapidly in various scientific fields. One of them is in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Currently, monitoring of electrical energy is mostly done by installing electrical measuring instruments in the electrical circuit before entering the load. This method has drawbacks, where to find out you have to look directly at the location where the measuring instrument is installed so it is inefficient because the results are not immediately known. For this reason, it is necessary to add a tool that can be used to monitor in real time and remotely. The purpose of this research is to create a monitoring system for monitoring the use of wireless-based electricity. This research method is a design that can measure AC alternating current electrical parameters such as Voltage, Current, Power, and Energy by using the Wemos D1 Mini microcontroller as a wifi module as well as data processing. Then use the PZEM 004t sensor as a sensor to measure these parameters. Then use the Blynk application so that the data obtained by the sensor can be monitored via a smartphone. The results of the measurement experiment can be measured using the PZEM 004t sensor. The measurement data obtained can be monitored using the blynk application on a smartphone. In addition, measurement results can be sent to the e-mail address registered on the blynk application. Then there is a voltage error of 1.35%, and a current error of 0.85% when the measurement results using the system are compared to the measurement results using a multimeter.
