Humans live with various needs that they need to survive. These various needs are arranged and classified neatly into primary, secondary, and tertiary needs. In fulfilling their life needs, there is a place where humans can find all the needs they need in one place, namely the market. Wanareja Market as a spatial physical appearance certainly has a direct impact on the state of the environment around it. Wanareja market has a high level of mobilization which illustrates the high level of energy consumption. Physically, the building, which has eaten its age, is not without problems. Several things are still problems, especially those related to the environment, such as the lack of green open space, the density of buildings in markets, and the complexity of circulation which often collides with the general public, which must be resolved as soon as possible. Advances in technology provide various conveniences for architecture to benefit the environment they foster, one of which is through the redesign of the Wanareja Market. The form of acculturation that occurs from technological developments and architectural disciplines is the concept of Eco-Technology Architecture which brings together current technological advances and a building's more attention to environmental sustainability. Various kinds of technologies that can be applied in the form of materials, tools, and even green elements contribute to improving the quality of the Wanareja Market building in relation to its environment. With proper implementation, it can ultimately maximize the potential of Wanareja Market in several aspects such as energy efficiency, development of alternative energy, improving the quality of activities that occur, and environmental sustainability. Thus, the results of the design of the Wanareja Market in the form of this redesign will have an impact on a larger scale, namely the sustainability of the Wanareja Market and the surrounding area.
