Abstract
Parking is an activity when the vehicle stops temporarily according to the driver's needs. Parking is a system that supports transportation and cannot be separated from the transportation network. Parking arrangements have an impact on the performance and regulation of traffic on the highway. This innovation aims to improve vehicle security and reduce the risk of theft. The research methods used include literature studies, system design, hardware and software development, and performance testing. The R503 fingerprint sensor is used as a unique identification method to identify the owner of the vehicle. ESP32 functions as a control center that manages the verification process and controls access to and from vehicles. This tool has materials that are quite cheap compared to tools that are already on the market. This tool has weaknesses, namely the limited fingerprint sensor ID and the lack of a security system on the when registering a figerprint ID Based on the test results using the parts of the thumbprint, namely the top and bottom thumbprints, the middle thumbprint, the left and right thumbprints by doing 4 trials on each of these parts, the results obtained the fastest part for detecting fingerprints is the middle part with a presentation of 100% success, followed by the left thumb print 70% then the right thumb print 50%, the top and bottom fingerprints are 25% each. It can be concluded that the fingerprint the middle part has a very good detection success rate. For the second trial is a long trial of the process of opening and closing the door latch using 10 student fingerprints, it can be concluded that the use of these fingerprints was 70% successful and said to be accurate or stable even though there were still some errors in Several experiments were due to the factor of dirty and injured hand fingerprints making it difficult for the finger sensor to detect fingerprints. This tool tested the stability level of a 45 dc motor on an automatic doorstop opening and closing system, 10 trials were carried out using 10 fingerprints of ums students. Based on the results of the data From what has been obtained, it can be concluded that the stability level of the motor when the door latch is open is in the range of an average of 1.135 seconds and when the door latch is closed it has an average of 2.11 seconds which from the results obtained is fairly accurate and stable.
