Abstract

ECRC is a research community at the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, focusing on energy and fuel consumption reduction, with one of its options being electric vehicles. Electric vehicles rely on integrated electronic systems and require accurate measurements of current, voltage, power, energy, and rpm. Manual measurement methods using AVOmeters and commonly used tachometers are available, but remote monitoring poses a challenge. This enhanced system successfully received sensor data from LoRa nodes with an optimal signal strength of up to 2 kilometers. The average sensor error was reduced to 0.06 %, indicating good accuracy using calibrated measuring instruments as references. The main function of the gateway device is to receive sensor data collected from sensor devices using the LoRa communication module, then send it to a cloud-based data storage server using MQTT protocol and display it on Node-red, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis. This integrated system demonstrates high potential for remote monitoring.
