Abstract
Communities as social beings flock to fundraising when another group of people experiences a disaster or disaster that has an impact on finances. Fundraising is done either directly or face to face with donors, or through online social media or what is known as Donation Based-Crowdfunding. However, there is often misuse of these donations. Through this juridical-normative research method, researchers will examine the legal protection provided by the Donation Based-Crowdfunding platform in Indonesia regarding these violations. Researchers collected data by observing on the Kitabisa, Benihbaik, and Wecare.id platforms. The purpose of this research is to find out the process or mechanism for fundraising and legal protection on the three platforms. Each platform provides information on pages regarding mechanisms, policies, and rules related to fundraising that can be accessed by users. The platform has provided appropriate legal protection preventively based on Law number 9 of 1961 concerning PUB and repressively in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
