Abstract

Factors that influence a person's work behavior is perception. Misperceptions that arise create bad risk perceptions that will tend to behave unsafely. Unsafe behavior can increase the risk of work accidents. This research is at PT. Adhi Karya Solo Klaten Toll Road Project because the project has a risk of danger from every work. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceptions of occupational hazard risk and work behavior among workers at PT. Adhi Karya Solo-Klaten Toll Road Project. This research method is observational with a cross sectional approach. The total sample of this study was 134 laborers at PT. Adhi Karya Solo-Klaten Toll Road Project. The sampling technique is simple random sampling by drawing lots. The research instrument is a questionnaire and observation sheets. The statistical test uses the Spearman rank correlation test. The results of this study indicate that the perception of occupational hazard risk is in the good category of 112 people (83.6%) and the work behavior is in the safe category of 104 people (77.6%), and a p-value of 0.000 is obtained, which means that there is a significant relationship between perception risk of occupational hazards with work behavior at PT. Adhi Karya Solo-Klaten Toll Road Project with a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.825 is included in the very strong category and shows a positive direction of relationship. The conclusion of this study is that the better the perception of hazard risk, the safer work behavior tends to be. Suggestions from this study are that workers participate in safety briefing activities in the form of safety talks and toolbox meetings at the company and laborers always comply with the regulations that apply in the work area, one of which is the use of PPE
