Abstract

Parking lots are areas where vehicles can stop for short or long periods of time, according to the driver's needs. Parking is an important part of the transportation infrastructure and cannot be separated from the transportation network system. Therefore, parking arrangements have a significant impact on network performance, especially the road network. This study uses the RFID system on the doorstop as a tool to speed up the vehicle checking process. The focus of this research is the use of RFID on the doorstop which will facilitate the process of entering and leaving the vehicle. This tool uses materials that are quite affordable, but has the same function as existing tools at a higher price. This tool has weaknesses, namely the need for a card to be inputted and the instability of the proximity sensor which results in the old door latch being closed. The RFID sensor has a high sensitivity at a distance of 1 cm - 3 cm, above that distance, RFID is difficult to detect. Based on the results of 5 experiments using magnetic cards, it can be concluded that the test was 60% successful and can be said to be stable, although there were still some errors in some experiments due to the tap distance factor which made it difficult for the RFID sensor to detect. This tool can test the stability of the pg45 dc motor used by doing 10 experiments using 10 magnetic cards from student ID cards. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the stability level of the motor obtained are fairly good and stable.
