Abstract
This study aims to analyze trading mining cryptocurrencies (mining cryptocurrencies via the internet) and the implications for the principles of sharia economic law. The method used is a study of qualitative research methods with a descriptive-documentation approach from the latest internet journals and news. that although Mining Cryptocurrency activities can be considered as buying and selling transactions, the method of mining tends to rely on computing and not real economic activities to cause controversy in the context of sharia economic law. In this context, the Cryptocurrency Mining Process can be considered as speculation or "Ghahar" in the view of Islamic Economic Law. In addition, aspects such as the use of energy and its impact on the environment, as well as technical aspects in the mining process need to be considered in the context of Islamic economic law. As Recommendations, clear and consistent regulations are needed in carrying out Cryptocurrency Mining activities so that they can be properly regulated and in accordance with the principles of sharia economic law.
