Abstract

This study aims to find the relationship between self efficacy and mindset with student work readiness. Respondents in this study amounted to 89 Psychology Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta who were taking a thesis class 2016 - 2019. The sampling technique in this study used puposive sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach, where data collection uses Google forms by distributing to social media such as whatsapp, instagram, telegram etc. Data collection in the study used a scale of aspects of work readiness according to Brady (2010), a self-efficacy scale with aspects according to Bandura (1997), and a mindset scale with aspects according to Carol S. Dweck (2006). The analysis test used is the Spearman Rho correlation test using the SPSS for Windows application. The results of the analysis show that the relationship between self efficacy and work readiness is 0.776 which means high. The level of mindset with work readiness is 0.697 which means high. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between self efficacy and mindset with work readiness with a high level.
