Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between perseverance and procrastination with academic achievement (GPA) among students. The study involved 120 students from the Faculty of Psychology at UMS who have completed at least one year of coursework, specifically from the academic years 2016 to 2021. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study employed a quantitative approach, and data collection was conducted using Google Forms distributed through social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, etc. The data collection included students' GPAs and two scales: the perseverance scale and the procrastination scale. The analysis employed Spearman's rank correlation test using the SPSS for Windows application. The results of the analysis revealed a correlation coefficient of 0.211 between the level of perseverance and academic achievement (GPA), indicating a low correlation. The correlation coefficient between the level of procrastination and academic achievement (GPA) was -0.204, also indicating a low correlation. It can be concluded that there is a low positive relationship between perseverance and academic achievement (GPA) among students, as well as a low negative relationship between procrastination and academic achievement (GPA) among students.
