Abstract
Body shaming is often experienced by teenagers. Body shaming is an Body shaming is often experienced by teenagers. Body shaming is an inappropriate treatment because it is a negative comment about an individual's body shape. The impact of body shaming can lead to low self-esteem and even depression. The process of individuals who are able to rise from adversity and become strong and resilient is called resilience. This study aims to describe the resilience possessed by adolescents who experience body shaming. The research subjects were five people selected using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of female adolescents aged 18-21 years who were victims of body shaming. Data collection in this study used semi-structured interview techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study uses interactive analysis. The results of this study are the five subjects have experienced downturns in the form of sadness, disappointment, insecurity, lack of confidence, overthingking, lazy to leave the house, lazy to communicate with others and organize. But the subject has its own way to overcome this. Factors that influence the subject to resilience are factors within the individual and external factors.
