Abstract

This study aims to find out how the efforts of the Bontang District Prosecutor's Office prevent gratuities, describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in preventing gratuities at the Bontang State Attorney's Office, describe the obstacles and solutions faced in efforts to prevent gratuities at the Bontang District Attorney's Office. Qualitative data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation in the form of words, sentences and pictures. Source of data in this study using primary data and secondary data. This type of research is descriptive with the research design used is descriptive. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study consisted of triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. Data analysis techniques consist of using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by the Bontang District Prosecutor's Office in preventing gratification are indicated by sanctions, following office regulations, refusing gratification. The supporting factors are integrity, socialization, responsibility, anti-gratification task force in all fields, online media. The inhibiting factor is the community with a low level of legal education, geographical conditions. The obstacles faced are Structural Constraints, the level of community welfare in a region. There is also a solution, namely with legal information, with legal services, legal counselling.
