Abstract
The aims of this study were (1) to describe the learning plan for the merdeka curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Mejayan in class X economics for the 2022/2023 academic year; (2) to describe the implementation of the merdeka curriculum learning at SMA Negeri 2 Mejayan in class X economics for the 2022/2023 academic year; and (3) to describe the evaluation of the learning process for the merdeka curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Mejayan in class X economics for the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research design is Ethnographic. The subjects in this study consisted of the school principal, Wakakurikulum, and 2 economics teachers. Collecting data in this study by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study was tested through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The stages of data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This study resulted in the conclusion that: (1) The merdeka curriculum learning plan was carried out by the economics subject teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Mejayan, which began with identifying the Learning Objectives Flow (ATP) then designing the teaching modules; (2) Implementation of merdeka curriculum learning conducted by economics subject teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Mejayan, namely using the discovery learning model in its implementation starting from the introduction, core activities, and closing; and (3) Evaluation of the process of learning the independent curriculum in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Mejayan, namely that teachers are able to make teaching modules and carry out systematic learning.
