Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between religiosity variables and social support on the psychological wellbeing poor society. The subjects in this needy people recipient Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) which is in the village of Sambungmacan, with a total of 115 people. The hypothesis in this study is a relationship between religiosity and social support on the psychological wellbeing of the poor society. The technique used in taking the sample is simple random sampling. Methods to collect data using religiosity scale, social support scale and psychological wellbeing scale. Analysis of the data using multiple linier regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25. In the data analysis between the to independent variables (religiosity and social support) with the dependent variable (psychological wellbeing) the result obtained for value F = 6,354 with the significant of p = 0,002 (p<0,05), so it can be said that there is a significant rletionship between religiosity, social support and psychological wellbeing in poor society. The effective contribution of the religiosity and social support to the psychological wellbeing of the poor is 10,2%, with details of the effective contribution of the religiosity (X1) of 4,7%, while the effective contribution of the social support (X2) is 5,5%, so that the effect of the social support on the psychological wellbeing of poor society greater than the religiosity on the psychological wellbeing of the poor society.
