Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the communication strategy used by the Nogosari Health Center in an effort to prevent DHF in Nogosari. This study uses the theory of attitude change put forward by Carl Hovland. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques uses descriptive analysis techniques by explaining the data according to the facts and conditions, so that conclusions can be drawn about the phenomena reffered to study. In this study, data were obtained through interviews and document studies. From the results of this study, the communication strategy in the form of counseling and health promotion for dengue prevention carried out by the Nogosari Health Center was considered good enough by collaborating with various cross-sectors and the whole community. However, there are still obstacles in the form of the non-sustainability of the POKJANAL work program, the lack of public access to seek information from the media and the lack of awareness from the Nogosari community to keep the environment clean.
