Abstract

Delaying doing tasks by doing other work that has a low level of importance is called productive procrastination. In students, productive procrastination behavior can be found in students who have activities outside of lectures such as organizing, working part-time and others. Their reasons for choosing these activities also varied, for example adding relationships, developing potential, filling free time and others. Even though the activities mentioned can provide various benefits, if the student concerned cannot divide his time and prioritize between lecture assignments and activities outside of lectures then the student concerned will experience interference in the course work. The lecture assignment will be delayed or even not completed before the submission deadline.
