Abstract
Students have the task of completing their studies by taking a thesis. Some of the research and phenomena that occur in compiling student thesis face various obstacles and make students experience stress, so that self-confidence is needed to complete the final assignment and support from those around them, especially the family. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and family support with the level of academic stress on students in completing their thesis. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and family support with students' academic stress levels. The subjects in this study were students who completed their thesis at the Faculty of Psychology UMS with a sample size of 80 subjects using a purposive sampling technique. This study used correlational quantitative methods and data collection was carried out by survey using a questionnaire containing self-efficacy, family support, and academic stress scales. The analysis used is multiple regression correlation with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05) which means that there is a very significant relationship between self-efficacy and family support with academic stress levels.
