Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of institutional ownership, leverage on financial performance as measured using the profitability ratio of Retun On Asset (ROA). This research is classified as quantitative research using data in the form of annual financial statements of transportation companies listed on Bersa Efek Indonesia (IDX) in 2019-2021. The research sample used purposive sampling technique so that a sample of 30 transportation companies was obtained. This study used panel data regression analysis with EViews 9 software. The results of the study show that institutional ownership does not have a significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the leverage proxied debt to equity ratio has a significant effect on financial performance.
