Abstract

This study aims to find out the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers and the problems faced by Islamic religious education teachers in overcoming difficulties in learning to read the Qur’an Class VIII at Islamic Pracha Songkro School, Pattani South Thailand for the academic year 2021/2022 The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Research data obtained by interview, observation, and documentation. The interview method is inductive, namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the data obtained from the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation are how the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers overcome students' difficulties in reading the Qur’an for class VIII Islamic Pracha Songkro School, Pattani South Thailand and what are the problems and solutions of teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Qur’an Islamic Pracha Songkro School, Pattani South Thailand. The aim of this study was to describe the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Qur’an for class VIII at the Islamic Pracha Songkro School, Pattani South Thailand. And to identify teacher problems and solutions in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Qur’an at Islamic Pracha Songkro school, Pattani South Thailand. Based on the research that has been carried out, the researcher found that there were several efforts made by Islamic religious education teachers at the Islamic Pracha Songkro School, Pattani South Thailand, namely choosing the right method, providing time, building infrastructure, understanding the character of students, and developing skills. So that it can contribute more to class VIII students at the Islamic Pracha Songkro School, Pattani, southern Thailand, especially in Islamic religious subjects.
