Abstract

Increasing a student's or student's interest in learning is an effort that must be made at every level of school or an educational institution, starting from elementary, junior high, high school, UNIVERSITY. This is also the case with Pesma KH Mas Mansur, where currently students' interest in studying for students has dropped dramatically during the Covid-19 Pandemic that hit Indonesia for more than 3 years, with the pandemic hitting Indonesia for more than 3 years resulting in students being on vacation and the learning system for Pesma KH Mas Mansur done at home. Whereas the implementation of the learning system at home resulted in students preferring to study online rather than offline. With this, a new strategy is needed to increase student interest in learning, especially at Pesma KH Mas Mansur through the teaching staff. That the purpose of this study is to describe the strategies used to increase students' interest in studying at Pesma KH Mas Mansur and to find out what were the supporting and inhibiting factors, why the students' interest in studying at Pesma KH Mas Mansur have decreased after the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia. Type of research is field research with sources from the Director, Board of Trustees, and the Teaching Staff of Pesma KH Mas Mansur and using documents exist in Pesma KH Mas Mansur using a phenomenological approach. And the data collection method used are method of interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and ends with conclusions. The results of this research are that there are four strategies for increasing interest in learning for Pesma KH Mas Mansur students after the Covid-19 pandemic, namely, monitoring strategies, motivational strategies, strategies for undesstanding the supporting and inhibiting factors, and finally evaluation strategies.
