Abstract
Suicidal behavior is an act of someone hurting or injuring himself with the aim of ending his life. Suicide attempts are carried out in various ways and have various goals. Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood, during which time it is a period of crisis and is prone to many pressures, especially the formation of self-identity. Female students aged 18-22 years are classified as late adolescents who are very vulnerable to having psychological problems, especially in forming identity so they tend to look for shortcuts in solving problems, namely by committing suicide. Therefore, this study aims to explain how female students experience suicide attempts.
