Abstract
Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are disorders of the skeletal muscles caused by the muscles receiving repetitive and continuous static loads for a long period of time and will cause complaints to the joints, ligaments and tendons. In general, these musculoskeletal disorders take the form of pain, injury, or abnormalities in the musculoskeletal system, including the nerves, tendons, ligaments, muscles or joints. Complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders is an example of an occupational disease. The general objective of the research conducted was to determine the relationship between workload and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders in janitors at RSUD Dr. Moerwadi Solo. In this study the type of research used was quantitative research and the design used in the study was cross sectional. This design was chosen by the researcher because the research design can collect more than one case or variable at a certain time. The results showed that there was no relationship between workload and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders in janitors at RSUD Dr. Moerwadi Solo which was carried out with the Chi Square test with significant results. value (p value = 0.111) or p value > 0.05. According to Abdillahtulkhaer (2022) there are other factors that affect musculoskeletal complaints, namely work posture.
