Abstract

Many of the students still have difficulty in determining the theme of their thesis and students will easily refer to existing research. So that the scope of the thesis topic is only limited to the scope that is common enough to be researched by Sharia Economic Law students. On the other hand, many aspects of the topics that have been determined by the study program have not yet been developed. This study aims to obtain map or a concrete picture of the trend towards the development of the topic of the Sharia Economic Law study program UMS. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this research is the title of thesis of the students Sharia Economic Law study program UMS 2013-2020, while the samples taken using Total Sampling as much as 198 title. Result of the findings showed that the less diserve student’s minor thesis, it was shown from data analysis that most of the student theses examined the contract of daily life (with all its aspects) as many as 52 themes (26%). While the field of study that is most in demand is about fiqh muamalah with a percentage of 60% (121 themes).
