Abstract
The rate of population growth is now increasing uncontrollably. Resulting in population problems and various socio-economic problems. In addition, job opportunities are getting narrower. This can encourage migration or population movement because the available natural resources are depleting or the availability of jobs in the area of origin is small. Be an incentive for someone to migrate to meet their needs. staple of everyday life. The aims of this study were (1) to analyze the characteristics of mobility actors in Teluk Jambe Village (2) to analyze the factors that influence the mobility of PT. GS Battery. The method used is a survey method of PT GS.battery workers in the Teluk Jambe Village, totaling 131 respondents using a questionnaire to obtain data.Non Probability Sampel. This sampling method uses the method Quota sampling. The results of this study are (1) the social characteristics of PT Gs. Battery workers are dominated by 98% men, the average age of 43 years is classified as the end of working life, the overall level of education of workers is high school or high school, the marital status of all workers is married and most have 2 dependents, workers have worked at PT GS Battery for 20-30 years. (2) mobility actors are dominated from outside the district/city and province, dominated by Central Java 63%, the frequency of returning to the area of origin is every 6 months. The factor that attracts workers to do mobility is an economic factor, namely high income.
