Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country is ranked 4th in the world with the largest population. Every year Indonesia's population growth increases by 1.22% or 2.48 million people causing an increase in the poverty rate due to the imbalance in the quality of human resources, therefore the Government makes a Family Planning (KB) program. This research is located in Pucangsawit Village with 61% of family planning acceptors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the success of the KB Village program and the implications for reducing births in Pucangsawit Village, Jebres District and identify the success factors for the KB Village program in Pucangsawit Village, Jebres District. The research method used a survey, the slovin formula for sampling through a questionnaire with a total of 52 family planning acceptors and 3 family planning administrators (KB head, village head, and family planning midwife). Data collection techniques include primary and secondary data. Data processing techniques use three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data analysis method uses descriptive qualitative analysis and spatial analysis methods by comparing between KB villages in Jebres District. The results of the study show that in the Pucangsawit KB village the number of birth certificates in 2020 totaled 267 people and in 2021 there has been a significant increase to 1,555 people. The fertility rate of Pucangsawit Village in 2021 is 19 people. Pucangsawit KB Village has three programs and the most widely used family planning method is the injection method. Pucangsawit KB Village participated in fewer KB compared to Mojosongo Sub-District, this was due to the lack of participation of cadre members who had not maximized their socialization or awareness of the importance of participating in KB was still low. The conclusion in this study is that the implementation of the KB Village program in Pucangsawit Village still failed in the parameters of success and the level of attraction to the community to participate in KB was still low. To overcome this, Pucangsawit Family Planning Village Cadres need to increase community participation in carrying out family planning programs and socialize work programs that will be carried out in the future by paying attention to the implementation time
