Abstract
Through youth organizations, mosques can help the next generation learn the basics of religion, especially in learning to read the Koran. One example of an activity in which there is a process of learning the Qur'an is TPQ (Al-Qur'an Education Park). With the TPQ (Al-Qur'an Education Park) activity, this is a form of the role of mosque youth organizations in the prosperity of mosques. The aims of this research are: (1) To describe the role of mosque youth organizations in applying the Iqra' method to improve the quality of reading the Qur'an at TPQ At-Taqwa Grajegan Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency (2) To identify any obstacles found while carrying out the Al-Qur'an learning process at TPQ At-Taqwa Grajegan Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency. This research uses field research with a phenomenological approach which is included in qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study involved three steps, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the youth organization of the mosque plays a very important role in improving the quality of Al- Qur'an reading for students at TPQ At-Taqwa Grajegan Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency. The method used in the learning process is using the Iqra' method where the method adapts to the abilities of the students. As for the obstacles found during the learning process from the side of the students, the differences in the intellectuality of each student resulted in the students experiencing delays in achieving the specified targets. Apart from that, from the teacher's point of view, there is a lack of self-awareness when you have free time to help other teachers carry out the learning process at TPQ At-Taqwa, Grajegan Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency.
