Abstract

This article was written in order to understand the procedures for supervising the implementation of PT. Pegadaian, weaknesses and deficiencies in the implementation of pawning activities and efforts to improve this. Officer Case at PT. Pawnshops often occur that are not in accordance with the provisions stated in the Laws and Regulations. So thus it is necessary to have supervision of the activity of the pawn. The author in this case uses normative or juridical normative research methods, the data obtained is processed and also analyzed using descriptive qualitative which is a method by analyzing data by grouping setsra also selecting secondary data, namely laws. Then it is connected with the theory and legal principles that are obtained through a literature study related to the object of research, so that with this it can get an answer that the supervision of implementation related to pawning activities still has weaknesses or deficiencies. This is caused by the incompetence of PT. Pawnshop to make or sign a pawn agreement
