This research design uses a quantitative research design with a correlational research type. The population in this study was a student of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta who uses social media instagram. A sample was taken using purposive sampling techniques with a total sample of 120 students. The analysis technique in this study was multiple regression using IBM Statistics SPSS 25. Furthermore, gratitude with body image obtained a value (r) = 0.425 (p<0.05), meaning that gratitude and body image have a significant positive relationship. And on self-confidence with body image obtained a value (r) = 0.463 (p<0.05) and, it means that self-confidence with body image has a significant positive relationship. The effective contribution of the independent variables to the dependent variables in this study was 23.7% with details, the contribution from gratitude variables was 8.6%, and the contribution from the self-confidence variable was 15.1%, while 76.3% was related to other variables that were not researched.
