Abstract
Work posture is a determining point in analyzing the effectiveness of a job. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are pathological disorders that damage the soft tissues of the musculoskeletal system caused by activities that are carried out continuously for long periods of time due to repetitive activities with the wrong body position which results in pain in parts of the body such as the back, neck, shoulders. , hips, knees, and upper limbs. This study aims to determine the effect of work posture on musculoskeletal complaints in shallot farmers in Blumbang Lor, Blumbang Village, Tawangmangu District. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The total population in this study was 32 shallot farmers, the sampling technique was carried out with a total sampling of 32 respondents. Assessment of work posture using the REBA method and the level of complaints of MSDs using the Nordic Body Map. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that there was a relationship between work posture and musculoskeletal complaints in shallot farmers (p=0.002) and there was an effect between work posture and musculoskeletal complaints in shallot farmers (p=0.002).
