Abstract

Land is an area on the surface of the earth with certain characteristics which include the biosphere, atmosphere, soil, geological layers, hydrology, plant and animal populations, and the results of past and present human activities to a certain degree. Changes in land use are basically unavoidable in the implementation of existing development in an area. Changes in land use can result from rapid population growth and increasing demands for land for the community. The purpose of this research is to determine the distribution of changes in land use in Teras District, Boyolali Regency. Analyze the driving factors for land use change that occurred in Teras District in 2011 and 2020. The research method used is a spatial, digitization, survey. Taking the sample population in this study using a purposive sampling method. Analysis of land use change research uses a spatial method which is processed through GIS with the overlay method on land use maps in 2011 and 2020 so that the results can be analyzed using a descriptive method. Changes in land use from 2011 to 2020 were dominated by residential land use of 17.42 ha, industry of 14.78 ha and toll roads of 9.17. Land use change factors are caused by increasing population and population density, accessibility, facilities and infrastructure, land value, and land carrying capacity. The distribution pattern of land changes for settlements, industry, rice fields, toll roads, main roads, bodies of water, fields, gardens, vacant land from 2011 to 2020, namely in groups, is known using the Average Nearest Neighborhood.
