Abstract

Expertise or skills are a big capital for everyone to live life in the current era. People with various special skills are urgently needed in various sectors, especially in terms of employment and education. To overcome various obstacles in increasing specific expertise, especially at the stage of searching for course service providers. In this case, a platform that can be relied upon to increase special expertise is needed by service seekers and service providers. The marketplace platform can be a solution to overcome various obstacles experienced by both service seekers and service providers. Marketplace is a connecting platform between sellers and buyers on the internet. This research is intended to build an Android-based marketplace mobile application which is expected to be a bridge between course seekers and service providers. The development and application development methods are carried out using the Agile Development method. The development of the mobile marketplace in this research is based on the Telkom Innovation Journey which is a stage in developing innovation using the Lean Startup Methodology. After the mobile marketplace application has been built, further application testing is carried out to measure MVP achievement as well as evaluation material for various improvements and application performance enhancements with the User Acceptance Test. Based on the results of the research, the course service marketplace mobile application was successfully built in accordance with the MVP that had been set at the beginning of application development. Furthermore, this application will be submitted in HACK Idea.
