Abstract

Danur Jatmiko Junior/A310180180, STAND UP COMEDY ASSERTIVE SPEECH ACT ON GOVERNMENT CRITICISM AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, March 2023. Speech acts are a form of communication that is always used by humans. Because communication is important for human beings who are basically social beings able to connect with others. Therefore, this study was created with the aim of describing the form of stand-up comedy assertive speech acts about government criticism and its implications for Indonesian learning. In this study using qualitative descriptive method. The data collection of this study used listening, recording, and documentation techniques. The results of this study found assertive speech acts stated 5 data, claimed 8 data, boasted 4 data, suggest 1 data, answer 2 data, and complain 5 data. This research can also be implied in class X high school students with learning anecdotal texts of Indonesian lessons with elements of writing learning and learning outcomes students are able to write ideas and thoughts contained in anecdotal texts with good and correct Indonesian.
