Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of self-efficacy and self-efficacy on students' learning interest in class XI IPS SMA N 5 Surakarta. This research is a type of quantitative research that uses a non-experimental research design with 36 out of 40 students as respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, coefficient of determination, effective contribution and relative contribution. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on interest in learning by knowing that on the basis of calculations the results obtained are 5,043 > 1,692 with a significance value of <0.05, which is 0,000; 2) The family environment has a positive and significant effect on learning interest with a result of 2.047 > 1.692 with a significance value of <0.05, which is 0.049. 3) Self-efficacy and family environment simultaneously influence learning interest. This is evidenced by the results of simultaneous testing, namely F-count > F- table, namely 25,675 > 2.89 with a significant value generated of 0.000, which means that the result is greater than the specified significant value, namely 0.05.
