Abstract

Covid19 has a huge impact on the economy, thus impacting economic instability in various countries, one of which is Indonesia. The number of positive cases of Covid19 that occurred made the government take several policies including requiring all people to always wear masks, carry out PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) and Social Distancing. Then there was a Muhammadiyah conference on November 18-20, 2022, which was held in the city of Surakarta/Solo. Based on the background presentation above, the author is interested in making a research entitled "The Impact of the Muhammadiyah Conference on Sharia Hotel Policies and Regulations in Solo Raya". The formulation of the problem in this study is "whether there are differences in policies and regulations applied to participants of the Muhammadiyah conference with hotel visitors. Then this research method uses descriptive qualitative methods, because this study tries to describe an event that occurs at the present moment. Where are the policies and regulations before and the Muhammadiyah conference event there are differences, one of which is the addition of a special parking lot for the participants of the Muhammadiyah conference. Then at the time of the Muhammadiyah conference the hotel rooms used 100% of the total number of existing rooms. Based on the results of research on the Impact of the Muhammadiyah Conference on Sharia Hotel Policies and Regulations in Solo Raya. Itis mandatory for all visitors, whether they are conference participants or not, to always wear masks and wash their hands before entering the hotel room. Jadwal breakfast which changes to 03.00-05.00 WIB. and no lunch was provided for the participants of the Muhammadiyah conference at the hotel, because the committee had provided at the place where the Muhammadiyah conference took place. All facilities provided by the hotel can be enjoyed and used, whether it is a participant of the Muhammadiyah conference or not, all of them can enjoy and use the facilities provided by the sharia hotel.
